72 Hour Sale: Get a 50 Percent Discount on a Suite in Hawaii at This Resort Property

You can score a discount of 50 percent on rates on your choice of ten different types of suites if you book your reservations only now through Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 8:00 in the morning Hawaii Standard Time at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort property for stays completed from Sunday, August 27, 2017 through Tuesday, October 31, 2017.

72 Hour Sale: Get a 50 Percent Discount on a Suite in Hawaii at This Resort Property

The catch is that you are required to pay for your reservation in full at time of booking it, as your credit card will be charged immediately for the total amount quoted for the entire stay as reserved. Refunds or credits will not be issued unless otherwise indicated by local law.

The Dreaded Mandatory Resort Fee

A daily resort charge of $35.00 plus tax is assessed per room, per night at the time you check into the resort property — but this daily resort charge may not always be added to your final transaction.

The following items are included in the daily resort charge:

  • Wi-Fi and wired Internet access in your room
  • PlayStation 3 access with unlimited movies and games — and one movie or game can be removed at a time
  • Local, toll-free, and credit card calls with no access fee
  • Hawaiian Cultural Activities
  • 10 percent off or an upgrade of one category on a vehicle rental from National Rental Car — located at Tapa Tower in Hilton Hawaiian Village — for a minimum of two days
  • Movies on Wednesdays and Saturdays at sundown
  • 20 percent off the Afternoon Adventure Sail on the Spirit of Aloha Catamaran
  • Outdoor Morning Exercise Classes
  • One personalized photograph postcard per stay from Xerox Business Services

Select Terms and Conditions

Dates, specific room types and rates are subject to availability. Not all dates will have all applicable accommodation types available. Limited inventory per day applies to this offer. Restrictions and blackout dates apply and may change at any time. The actual discount rate relates to the Best Available Rate of the resort property, which is a specific rate type that varies depending on time of purchase, is unrestricted, non-qualified and excludes discount rates.

The resort property may cancel the reservation if credit card information is invalid or if the credit card is declined. Charges cannot be applied to other stays, services or merchandise. The reservation cannot be changed or cancelled. If you fail to arrive at the hotel on the scheduled arrival date, your reservation will be cancelled and you will not receive any refund or credit.

Quoted rates are per room per night; and are valid for single or double occupancy; and are exclusive of all taxes, incidental charges, gratuities and resort fees where applicable. Restrictions, blackout dates and early departure fees may apply and vary by hotel property. After the booking period, these special rates will no longer be available. Unless otherwise noted, all offer components cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash; expire at check-out; and may not be used or applied on future stays.

This offer is exclusive to reservations booked directly through Hilton. To book by telephone within the United States or Canada, please call +1-800 HHONORS; or view Global Reservation telephone numbers, and request “Suite Sale” or Plan Code NU to receive this discount.

Other restrictions, terms and conditions may apply — including those of the Hilton Honors frequent guest loyalty program.

Summary

Using a PlayStation 3 is exactly what I want to do whenever I travel to Hawaii. That is my top priority, in fact.

Implementation of the mandatory resort fee of $35.00 plus tax per room per night actually dilutes the savings to where you are no longer saving 50 percent on a suite — I suppose the same can be said about taxes and other fees as well — and you know my stance pertaining mandatory resort fees

…but if you really need a suite at this resort property and you do not mind paying for the stay at the time of booking your reservation, this could still be a good deal — despite that pesky mandatory resort fee.
