A Free Cookie and a Chance to Win a Free Night in the DoubleTree by Hilton 12 Days of Cookies Contest 2016? Sweet!

T hrough Monday, December 19, 2016, the DoubleTree by Hilton 12 Days of Cookies Contest 2016 gives you an opportunity to win a free night by following the official Instagram account of DoubleTree By Hilton — @doubletree — as well as by commenting on this post on Instagram with your favorite drink pairing for the DoubleTree cookie.

If you are wondering why the promotion is called the DoubleTree by Hilton 12 Days of Cookies Contest when its duration period is only for seven days at most, the reason is because through Saturday, December 24, 2016, you can stop in any DoubleTree hotel property located within the United States and get yourself a free warm cookie with no obligation whatsoever.

You must be a legal resident of one of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia; and you must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. This contest is void in Puerto Rico and any other jurisdiction where prohibited or restricted by law. No purchase or payment of any kind is required or necessary to enter, play or claim a prize; and a purchase or payment will not increase your odds or chances of winning.

Prizes

A total of ten winners — chosen from a random drawing on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 of submissions from all eligible entries received — will receive one Be My Guest certificate valid for use at any DoubleTree by Hilton hotel property around the world.

There is no limit to the number of entries per entrant; but there is a limit of one prize per person, e-mail address or household.

The approximate retail value for each Be My Guest certificate is $215.00.

Summary

Although I will reluctantly eat a DoubleTree cookie, I do not prefer them because they contain nuts — and you might think I am nuts for not liking nuts. They do taste good, though — especially when warm.

I am also not a member of Instagram; so I will not be entering as a participant in this contest — but if you decide to participate, I hope that you are one of the winners.
