The Travel Safety/Security forum on FlyerTalk is already inundated with a significant increase in traffic as a result of the Transportation Security Administration, which is already under public scrutiny for considering and implementing questionable, controversial and invasive airport security screening procedures with the enhanced pat-down policy if an airline passenger declines being screened by a full-body scanner.

To now considering requesting airline passengers to pay for the privilege is sending some FlyerTalk members “over the edge,” so to speak…
