Airport Food Worth Eating

Airport food does not necessarily have to mean suffering through a warmed-over day-old burrito, a stale cold sandwich, a bag of potato chips, or even a bland grey hamburger with wilted lettuce on a soggy bun just to tide one over until reaching one’s destination.

The New York Times has published an article about food worth eating at seven major airport hubs in the United States of America. However, I would bet that the information provided by the New York Times has nothing when compared to the information and worldwide experience of the collective membership of FlyerTalk.

For example, FlyerTalk member chrissxb introduced me to a Michelin-rated restaurant located within the airport terminal in Stuttgart. What a surprise that was! I would never have known about it had he not introduced me to it. It absolutely is possible to eat a real gourmet meal inside of an airport terminal, but I am certain this example is far from isolated.

Post your thoughts in the Grabbing a Bite Between Flights – NYT on airport food thread regarding the article, or perhaps you would like to share your own airport food experiences as to where there is food worth eating at an airport.

Had great taquitos at the todd english restaurant in terminal 7 at JFK on my last overnight flight. The burger joint at JfK jet blue is pretty good too.
