Yet Another Free 500 Elevate Miles in Seconds Offer?!?

“G et set at the starting line for a new movement in running, fitness and active experiences with the team at Virgin Sport. Sign up to learn more and we’ll raise your game with 500 bonus Elevate points.”

I just received an e-mail message moments ago from Virgin America stating that if I sign up for the Virgin Sport newsletter, I will earn 500 Elevate frequent flier loyalty program points — and this offer is apparently not targeted; so you should be able to sign up for it as well.

This offer is valid through Friday, September 30, 2016.

Terms and Conditions

Only one e-mail address is allowed; and only one set of 500 points will be awarded per Elevate account membership number.

Bonus Elevate reward points earned in this offer do not qualify towards Elevate Gold or Elevate Silver elite level status. Please allow ten days for your points to post from the promotion end date.

By subscribing, you agree to the terms and conditions. Virgin Sport has the right to send to you news, promotions and event information vie e-mail messages.

Other terms and conditions of the Elevate frequent flier loyalty program apply.

Summary

This promotion is similar to this recent promotion where you still can earn 500 free Elevate points for signing up for a newsletter for Virgin Hotels — in other words, register to receive exclusive grand opening offers from Virgin Hotels and get 500 Elevate points from Virgin America — but as with this offer, you only have until Friday, September 30, 2016 to take advantage of that offer as well.

Although this offer technically has a “string” attached to it where you must subscribe to the Virgin Sport newsletter — unlike this promotion in December of 2014 where all you had to do was click in order to earn 500 Elevate points — you can always unsubscribe from the newsletter after the 500 Elevate points appear in your account; and it is still a quick and easy way to add 500 Elevate points to your account.

I already subscribed to this newsletter as well.
