Driving a Vehicle on the Opposite Side of the Road
Some people have a fear of their First time operating a right-hand drive vehicle.
This is understandable — unless you happen to live in one of those countries that require it, such as New Zealand, Japan, South Africa, Malta, Thailand, the United Kingdom and Australia. Then you should know better, but we digress.
However, is driving on the opposite side of the road than one is used to doing really that dangerous? Does the person have anything about which to be concerned? Does a car equipped with a manual transmission only increase the difficulty of driving on the opposite side of the road from which one is used to driving?
