Terms and Conditions
Hotel and resort properties in Puerto Rico and United States territories are not participating in this promotion.
You must enter your Delta SkyMiles frequent flier loyalty program number during the registration process to receive bonus SkyMiles; and the name on your Starwood Preferred Guest member account must match the name on your Delta SkyMiles member account. By registering for this promotion, your Starwood Preferred Guest profile associated with you will be updated to include the Delta SkyMiles membership number provided.
An eligible dollar is defined as the total revenue tied to an eligible stay, excluding taxes. Ineligible dollars include dollars spent on taxes, spend not tied to an eligible stay or night, and spend on stays outside of the United States or Canada. There is no limit on the number of bonus miles that can be earned during the promotion period. Unless specified, bonus miles earned through this promotion do not count toward elite-status qualification or elite status.
Bonus SkyMiles will post to your account within six weeks after the qualifying stay has posted.
An eligible stay is defined as one or more nights in a participating hotel or resort property paying an eligible rate and posting to the account of a member of the Starwood Preferred Guest program.
An eligible night is defined as at least one night paying an eligible rate in the promotion period. An eligible rate is any rate that is eligible to earn Starpoints in the Starwood Preferred Guest program.
A listing of participating hotels and resort properties — as well as a description of eligible stays and the complete definition of eligible rates — can be found under Section 2.1 of the terms and conditions of the Starwood Preferred Guest program. Note that certain room reservations paid in advance — such as when the booking is made through a third party, including but not limited to travelocity.com, expedia.com, orbitz.com and delta.com — are not considered eligible rates and do not earn Starpoints or qualify for promotional earnings. Stays must be booked through any Starpoints-eligible channel, which includes a travel professional who books through those channels or the global distribution system.
This offer is applicable to individual members only and not to groups; and it is void where prohibited by law.
Although this offer is supposedly for “select Delta SkyMiles members”, I personally had not received the invitation to participate in this promotion and yet I have been able to successfully register for it; so you have nothing to lose by registering for this promotion — other than a moment of your time and minimal effort — and you have up to triple SkyMiles to gain.
Also, do not forget that you can also earn up to triple Starpoints with this promotion — as well as earn up to 2,000 Starpoints per stay at participating Le Méridien Hotels and Resorts in North America — and there is no language in the terms and conditions of any of these promotions that definitively state that you cannot earn in all of them simultaneously…
…meaning that this may be a potentially lucrative time to be a member of the Starwood Preferred Guest program; and you could benefit handsomely as a result.
