It is Clear That the Future is No Longer Clear for Clear

An announcement was suddenly posted that Clear (Verified Identity Pass) ceases operation as of 11:00 in the evening Pacific Standard Time on June 22, 2009 due to being “unable to negotiate an agreement with its senior creditor to continue operations.”

What will happen to those who paid for the Registered Traveler (Fly Clear) service in advance? Will they get any of their money back?

One thing is clear: Clear will no longer be Clear, and it is not clear as to how clear the situation with Clear will be to Clear customers.

    I hope we get our money back! AND what about all of the personal info they have???

    So how do we find out about any refund for the annual fee? There is no way to get information from their website?

    anyone got any ideas?

    Good luck getting any money back. Sounds like they just shut down and walked away. They may not have to file bankruptcy but the effect will be the same.
    Only hope is another operator steps in but that isn’t likely IMO.
