Marriott Rewards Flash Sale on Merchandise 2017 to Begin at Noon Eastern Time Today — But…

For 24 hours only beginning today, Monday, November 20, 2017 at noon Eastern Standard Time, this holiday flash sale will occur through which you can purchase merchandise with Marriott Rewards points via offers that are “not available outside of this window.”

Marriott Rewards Flash Sale on Merchandise 2017 to Begin at Noon Eastern Time Today — But…

You are limited to one item per redemption transaction of Marriott Rewards points.

Offers are extremely limited and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis for a maximum of 24 hours or while supplies last — whichever comes first. No substitutions or rain checks will be permitted. Specifics of each offer can be found on the offer’s detail page.

Offer is not considered purchased until the merchandise order is complete and confirmation via e-mail message is received. All sales are final and returns will not be accepted, unless merchandise is defective.

This offer is void where prohibited.

Except where explicitly covered, other terms and conditions — including those of the Marriott Rewards frequent guest loyalty program and those of individual partners or vendors, where applicable — apply.

Summary

Even though I have not seen specifically which products will be offered, I personally have no interest in participating in this particular flash sale, as my experience suggests to me that purchasing merchandise with frequent travel loyalty program miles or points is rarely a good idea; but perhaps you may want to score a possible bargain for yourself for the holiday season.

And looks like they’re already sold out (in 40 mins). I’ve been looking for a way to redeem my MR points for a while now, but outside of hotel stays the value is abysmally low. Do you have any suggestions on best way to redeem MR points at a decent rate?

I noticed that, Sorab. I am left wondering if more products will be offered during the next 23 hours.

Using points for hotel stays will almost always be your best value. Sales on the redemption of Marriott Rewards points are rather rare — such as this expired offer to convert Marriott Rewards points to AAdvantage miles and earn a bonus of 20 percent, which was not that great…

Your best bet is checking out the PointSavers offers — but the list of hotel and resort properties which participate in these offers is rather limited:

I hope this information helps even a little bit…

I guess hotel stays are my best bet then. Thanks Brian!
