Summary

No member of a frequent guest loyalty program likes when a hotel or resort property he or she patronizes increases in category — and thereby requiring the redemption of more points for a stay — but at least the increase in at least one category will only affect eleven hotel and resort properties in the Hilton Worldwide portfolio.

There is no word of any hotel or resort properties which are scheduled to decrease by at least one category; but if I do receive word of that, I intend to let you know…

  1. Glenn says:

Well the Doubletree Newark / Fremont is a crappy hotel. Giant piece of concrete. Lousy service. Far from anything but heavy traffic outside to get where you’re going. Up a category? Hah!

    1. Brian Cohen says:

I will have to take your word for it, Glenn, as I have never stayed at that hotel property.

Of course, my mind initially ignored the part of the name of the hotel which is Fremont and immediately thought New Jersey instead of California…
