“Each-Way” Airfare Sale Gripe

You might perceive this gripe as minor, but in comparing airfare sales between Southwest Airlines and Delta Air Lines — both of which end today where the airfares are as low as $73.00 each way — you would believe that both airfare sales are similar if not identical; but there is one major difference highlighted below in dark red…

Pilot Delays Flight for Passenger to Attend Funeral of Murdered Grandson

A Southwest Airlines Pilot holds flight for 12 minutes beyond scheduled departure time for late passenger who was reportedly on his way to attending the funeral of his murdered three-year-old grandson, and he was delayed in arriving at the aircraft on time due to long lines.

This Flight is for the Birds…

…literally.

Penny and Pete get some very special attention whenever they travel, as they are Penguins. In the front row. With handlers.

Whenever they travel on Southwest Airlines, Penny and Pete, who are from SeaWorld, get their own assigned seats and walk around inside of the aircraft during flight. Fellow passengers even get to touch them!

The only questions that remain are: are they members of the Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards frequent flyer loyalty program, and do they earn points or credits on their flights?
