Three Unaccompanied Minors Fly Unsupervised From Jacksonville to Nashville
Three unaccompanied minors, ages 15, 13 and 11, wanted to go to Dollyworld. The 15-year-old girl, who was saving her money to buy a car, instead decided to use her funds to treat her brother and a friend on a sojourn to the amusement park — except that the result of 3 children fly alone from JAX-BNA (Nashville) without parent’s knowledge was not so amusing.
They were passengers on Southwest Airlines from Jacksonville, Florida to Nashville, Tennessee — except that Dollywood is located almost 200 miles to the east near Knoxville, Tennessee. Scared, they decided to contact their parents to help get them home, as there was no way they could get to Dollywood from Nashville on their own.
