Triple Points Time With Club Carlson
I t is Triple Points Time: through Saturday, June 28, 2015, you can earn 40 bonus Gold Points per dollar spent on eligible stays at greater than 1,000 participating Carlson Rezidor hotel and resort properties worldwide in addition to the 20 standard Gold Points you would normally earn — but you must first register for this promotion in order to participate; and you must be a member of the Club Carlson frequent guest loyalty program.
This means that you earn 60 Gold Points per United States dollar spent — as opposed to the usual 20 Gold Points per United States dollar spent — which means that spending as little as $150.00 before taxes and fees can earn 9,000 Gold Points for a free award night in the future at any one of the 38 Category 1 hotel properties worldwide…
…such as the Park Inn by Radisson Budapest hotel property — of which I reviewed on October 2, 2014 and is shown in the photograph at the top of this article — should be one of the greater than 1,000 hotel properties participating in this promotion. I spent 9,000 Gold Points for a stay at the Park Inn by Radisson Budapest — which is one of the Category 1 hotel properties — and it was an easy redemption with no issues at all.
Once you are registered for this promotion, provide your Club Carlson frequent guest loyalty program membership number at the time of reservation or when you check in at the hotel; and you will earn triple Gold Points on eligible stays at hotel properties worldwide under the following brands:
- Quorvus Collection
- Radisson Blu
- Park Plaza
- Park Inn by Radisson
- Country Inns & Suites By Carlson
In addition to earning triple Gold Points, you will also earn 1,000 bonus Gold Points for eligible stays booked on the Club Carlson mobile software application program from your portable electronic device.
Stays or nights paid for by redeeming points or by using Points + Cash are not eligible for this promotion. You only need to register once; but you must register before you check out of the eligible stay at a participating hotel or resort property to earn triple Gold Points for that stay.
The amount spent during an eligible stay on the room rate and eligible food and beverage charged to your room — exclusive of any taxes, levies, charges, and fees — count towards earning 60 Gold Points per United States dollar with this promotion.
If you have already earned elite level status in the Club Carlson frequent guest loyalty program, you will still earn your bonus on the standard 20 Gold Points earned per United States dollar spent and not on the 40 bonus Gold Points.
The Triple Points Time promotion is subject to the terms and conditions of the Club Carlson frequent guest loyalty program; and it is not a complicated promotion in which to participate and follow. In fact, similar promotions have occurred in the past — such as this one from January of 2013 and this one from January of 2012.
I already spent the few seconds required to register for this promotion, as it was quick and easy.
What about you?
