Your Chance to Win a Trip With the JetBlue Holiday Before The Holidays 2016 Contest

I f you need a holiday before the holidays, you may be in luck, as you could be one of ten people to win a trip with the JetBlue Airways Holiday Before The Holidays 2016 contest — the approximate retail value is up to $1,598.00 — from which you will submit up to three preferences from the following destination packages listed below if you are one of the ten winners; and the sponsor will accommodate you as best as possible base on accommodation availability:

  • Round-trip economy class air transportation for two people on JetBlue Airways to Getaways City from the airport serviced by JetBlue Airways closest to the winner’s residence
  • Up to one thousand dollars towards hotel accommodations in your choice of destination city from one of the following sixteen cities between Wednesday, December 14, 2016 and Thursday, December 22, 2016 — subject to accommodation availability:
    • United States: Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Fort Myers, Tampa
    • Caribbean: Aruba, Bahamas, Bermuda, Cayman Island, Saint Lucia, Saint Maarten, Turks and Caicos
    • Puerto Rico: Aguadilla, Ponce, San Juan
    • United States Virgin Islands: Saint Thomas

How to Enter

You must be a legal resident of one of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia or Puerto Rico; and you must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. This contest is void elsewhere and where prohibited or restricted by law.

During an entry period from an unrestricted, unblocked wireless mobile telephone or landline telephone, dial the promotional hotline at 1-855-REFRESH or 1-855-733-7374. Then follow the voice prompt instructions and record a voice mail message not to exceed two minutes in duration stating why you deserve a “Holiday Before The Holidays” — including your first name, city and state of residence.

Each entrant is limited to one entry per person, family or household per wireless mobile telephone or landline telephone during each entry period, and each submitted entry must be different. Duplicate entries or multiple entries made by an entrant in excess of the stated limitation will be disqualified. All non-winning entries from previous entry periods will be rolled over into subsequent entry periods. All entries must be received by 11:59:59 in the evening Eastern Standard Time on Friday, December 16, 2016.

There are a total of eight entry periods — all of which start at midnight and end at 11:59:59 in the evening Eastern Standard Time during December of 2016:

  1. Friday, December 9
  2. Saturday, December 10
  3. Sunday, December 11
  4. Monday, December 12
  5. Tuesday, December 13
  6. Wednesday, December 14
  7. Thursday, December 15
  8. Friday, December 16

What Entries May NOT Contain

Entries may not contain, as determined by Sponsor’s sole discretion, any content that:

  • Is sexually explicit or suggestive; unnecessarily violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group; profane or pornographic; obscene or offensive;
  • Feature celebrities, public figures or animated characters;
  • Promotes irresponsible or excessive consumption of alcohol; promotes illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms, weapons, or any particular political agenda or message;
  • Defames, misrepresents or contains disparaging remarks about other people or companies;
  • Contains information about a competitive airline;
  • Contains trademarks, trade names or copyrighted materials owned by others, other than those owned by sponsor for which sponsor has granted entrant a limited license to use for purposes of submitting an entry in this contest, as set forth above;
  • Contains any personal identification, such as personal names — other than first name and city and state of residence, telephone numbers, e-mail or street addresses;
  • Communicates messages inconsistent with the positive images or goodwill to which the sponsor wishes to associate;
  • Contains any products competitive to the sponsor;
  • Violates any law or infringes upon the rights of any other person or company

Judging Criteria

The entry with the highest score for each entry period based on the judging criteria will each be deemed a prize winner. A total of three prize winners will be selected in entry period #1; and one prize winner will be selected each of the subsequent seven entry periods for a total of ten prize winners. In the event of a tie between any entries based on the judging criteria, the tied entries will be re-judged by an additional judge who will serve as a tie-breaker using the same judging criteria as outlined herein.

After the conclusion of each entry period, all eligible entries received during such entry period will be judged by a qualified panel of judges selected by the sponsor based on the following criteria:

  • Creativity — 0-25 points
  • Adherence to Contest Theme — 0-25 points
  • Originality — 0-25 points
  • Response describing why entrant deserves a “Holiday Before The Holidays” — 0-25 points

Failure to comply with any of the aforementioned requirements will result in disqualification. Entries may be featured and accessible for audio playback by the general public via content posted on the Internet web site of the sponsor or social media platforms once the entry has been approved by the sponsor or administrator of the contest to be in compliance with these official rules. Summary
