Up to 100 Percent Bonus on Shared US Airways Dividend Miles — But Hurry…

If you have been looking to share your US Airways Dividend Miles with someone — or if you would like someone to share them with you — now is the time to do so: you could receive a 100 percent bonus on the amount of Dividend Miles shared with the latest promotion by US Airways.
The amount of Dividend Miles which you may share is capped at a maximum of 50,000 Dividend Miles — meaning that the recipient will receive a maximum of 100,000 Dividend Miles — and the minimum amount of Dividend Miles you may share where your recipient receives the bonus of 100 percent is 30,000 Dividend Miles.
However, you need to act fast: this promotion is only on through December 6, 2013.
Sharing 50,000 Dividend Miles with someone will cost you a total of $567.50 when you consider that your cost is one cent per Dividend Mile plus a processing fee of $30.00 and a tax recovery charge of 7.5 percent — bringing the value during this promotion to 1.135 cents per Dividend Mile when you consider that the recipient received a total of 100,000 Dividend Miles when including the bonus of 100 percent.
If you are a resident of Canada who wants to take advantage of this promotion, you will be charged a goods and services tax/harmonized sales tax.
This offer may worth considering — especially if you need to top off your US Airways Dividend Miles account for an award ticket that might otherwise cost more money in airfare than through the purchase of Dividend Miles; or if you are a member of the American Airlines AAdvantage frequent flier loyalty program, as it is expected to merge with the Dividend Miles frequent flier loyalty program sometime after the deal is expected to close on December 9, 2013.
Although US Airways had numerous promotions in the past similar to this one, I am uncertain at this time whether or not the combined airline post merger will offer similar deals to this one — so this could by your final opportunity to take advantage of such a deal.
I personally would not consider the offer at the lower levels: if you share between 10,000 and 19,000 Dividend Miles, your recipient will receive a bonus of 50 percent; while your recipient will receive a bonus of 75 percent if you share between 20,000 and 29,000 Dividend Miles
All transactions are non-refundable; and purchase and gift transactions are not eligible for the bonus Dividend Miles as they have been for previous promotions such as this one last year. This offer is not valid for US Airways Dividend Miles accounts fewer than twelve days old, so if you do not have a US Airways Dividend Miles account yet and want to take advantage of this promotion, you are out of luck this time around.
Other terms, conditions and restrictions apply.
