Although this offer of receiving 1,000 bonus Delta Air Lines SkyMiles simply for joining the frequent flier loyalty program as a new member is intended to be exclusive for customers of Hertz Rent a Car, FlyerTalk member Doctor of Credit confirms that anyone who is not yet a member of the Delta Air Lines SkyMiles frequent flier loyalty program can benefit from this promotion — even if you use a physical address located outside of the United States.
A new member is defined as someone who has not been a member of the Delta Air Lines SkyMiles frequent flier loyalty program in the six months prior to enrollment — meaning that if you were a member but terminated your membership greater than six months ago but now have second thoughts, you are in luck.
To qualify for this offer, you must provide a valid e-mail account address at the time of enrollment; and you will automatically be enrolled to receive Travel & SkyMiles Info, a monthly SkyMiles Statement, and special offers and promotions via e-mail messages…
…and if you eschew receiving these types of e-mail messages, you can always change your profile preferences to stop receiving them.
The promotional reference code to this offer is 970646.
I see no expiration date for this offer, I have no idea if it is permanently ongoing; if it will end with notice; or if it will end without notice. However, SkyMiles have no expiration date — and as membership in the Delta Air Lines SkyMiles frequent flier loyalty program is free of charge, I say that taking advantage of this offer is a “no-brainer” as you have nothing to lose.
