If you are a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer loyalty program and you plan to redeem your points for flights on Jetstar, you are in luck, as the new Classic Award points pricing was announced, enabling you to book flights operated by Jetstar for 20 percent fewer points.
This means that you may redeem as low as 6,400 Qantas Frequent Flyer loyalty program points on flights operated by Jetstar — not including taxes, fees amd carrier charges, of course.
Furthermore, you can now also redeem Qantas Frequent Flyer loyalty program points on flights operated by Jetstar to greater than 20 new Jetstar Classic Award destinations across Asia through the Jetstar Japan and Jetstar Asia networks.
This news comes after the recent unveiling of details of benefits which will be available through the partnership of Qantas with Emirates, which received final approval last month.
The improved points structure applies only to Classic Awards on flights operated by Jetstar and is subject to availability. There are no changes to Qantas Classic Award bookings.
