Breaking News: 7.2 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Turkey; Dozens Killed

At the time this was posted, a minimum of 85 people are reported dead and dozens of buildings have collapsed after an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.2 hit eastern Turkey. Most affected was the eastern Turkish city of Erciş, located near the border with Iran.
As many as 1,000 people were feared killed in the strongest earthquake in the history of Turkey, which was the worst since 1999. Rescue efforts are already underway.
