Airline Ticket Tax To Be Suspended Again on September 16?

If you did not enjoy the tax holiday on airline tickets the first time around due to the shutdown of the Federal Aviation Administration, you may actually have another chance because — believe it or not — the Federal Aviation Administration — or FAA — may once again shut down on September 16.
The reason is because of one United States lawmaker blocking a vote to approve a measure for funding for aviation and highways, which is set to expire unless a vote is reached. He does not want to “spend money on enhancements when the trust fund’s broke and we’re broke.”
If the airline tax is once again suspended, will passengers see the cost savings pass on to them, or will the airlines attempt to channel the extra money their way and pocket it?
