Summary

The flight from New York to Milan operated by Emirates Airline which is featured in this article is being advertised for as low as $460.00 round trip; but I never found an airfare which is that inexpensive.

Even if Milan is not your final destination, you can use it as a connection point to travel elsewhere within Europe — and even to other parts of the world — inexpensively, as it is a hub airport for both Alitalia and Air Italy.
