Couple Charged With “Lewd, Indecent and Obscene” Behavior Aboard Airplane
Jessica Stroble and Christopher Martin both face up to 90 days in jail after allegedly being charged by Las Vegas police with engaging in lewd, indecent, and obscene acts while aboard flight 557 operated by Allegiant Air, which originated in Medford, Oregon.
The criminal complaint was filed in the United States District Court of Nevada by a special agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation of the United States.
The sexual acts purportedly committed by the couple include masturbation and indecent exposure. A rather graphic account of the alleged incident can be found here.
I thought that Allegiant Air — named the most profitable airline in the United States — had no “in-flight entertainment”, but I guess I was wrong.
All I will say is that this reported incident gives a whole new meaning to the declaration that “flying sucks.”
It’s not in the safety video or demo that you can’t do that! Unless they were using a blue tooth device should have been just fine…. 🙂
You mean what happens on the plane to Vegas, doesn’t stay on the plane to Vegas?
Who says you can’t get ahead on Allegiant Air?
Funny that the mods shut down my thread on this subject yesterday and put it on their FP rotator today. Uh-huh.
I really enjoy when FlyerTalk members respond to articles posted at The Gate — especially this time. Please keep it going!
Actually, scheister, this article was posted before that discussion on FlyerTalk was locked. Also, The Gate is not under the purview of the moderators of FlyerTalk.
So I’m pretty sure the dude runs Troon Vineyard and that his lady friend Is a nail technician. Woo, LinkedIn.
Why “especially this time”? I don’t know what that means. Honestly, I don’t really know what The Gate is, so no biggie. Why is this article dated 08/10 and the discussion was locked 08/09? Anyways, it was a funny article and could have been an entertaining thread, that’s all. The mods apparently operate in a ‘Minority Report’ world, so it’s good that you’re free from them.
Well I think it has all been BLOWN out of all proportion
On the main page, the title is “Couple Charged for Sex Acts Aboard Airplane”, I thought I was going to read about a new airline fee.
So another two people locked up that adds to the 9 million processed for lock up in the US? With 5% of the world population but 25% of the world’s prisoners, another couple locked up for a day, week or months in the US won’t make a big difference.
