Delta Boost Spirits for International Economy Class Passengers — Literally

Will Woodford Reserve craft bourbon be one of the complimentary alcoholic beverages offered on international flights in the economy class cabin — and will it be served in a plastic cup or a glass? As a holiday gift meant to keep on giving all year long if you are a frequent flier who travels internationally in the economy class cabin and enjoys alcoholic beverages, Delta Air Lines now offers complimentary spirits on international flights in all cabin classes where one of those classes of service is Business Elite — effective immediately.
Prior to this new policy, the only complimentary alcoholic beverages which passengers in the economy class cabin could enjoy were one serving of beer and wine. If you had been sitting near me on an international flight in the economy class cabin, I would have ordered a beer or a wine and given it to you, as I do not drink alcoholic beverages.
Although I have not yet found definitive verbiage, I highly doubt that unlimited spirits will be flowing in the economy class cabin anytime soon — especially after what some FlyerTalk members consider the debacle of revising the selection of alcoholic beverages offered in Delta Sky Club airport lounges earlier this year.
Assuming that this new policy is still for only one serving of spirits per passenger seated in the economy class cabin on an international flight  — if you are sitting near me, let me know what you want and you can enjoy an extra free alcoholic beverage while I enjoy my orange juice or soda…
