Rates are per room, per night and are subject to availability. The offer is available for both non-members and members of IHG Rewards Club to take 25 percent off from the Best Flexible Rate. You must be an IHG Rewards Club member to qualify for the full additional discount of ten percent, which is up to 35 percent off of the Best Flexible Rate.

Additionally, members of the IHG Rewards Club frequent guest loyalty program will receive an additional discount of between two percent and five percent when booking reservations directly with InterContinental Hotels Group.

The Best Flexible Rate is the best and least restrictive publicly available rate. Changes to your reservation are usually acceptable, however always check the hotel’s cancellation policy before booking for cancellation fees that may apply depending upon arrival date and hotel selected.

The offer is only applicable for online reservations. Final bill will be presented in local currency. Credit card surcharges apply. Blackout dates apply. Tax and service charges may apply. Rates only applicable to participating hotel and resort properties in Japan. Hotel policy varies in regards to the number of guests allowed per room. A minimum length of stay may apply. Please check with the hotel property directly should you require further clarification.

This offer is not valid to groups of ten or more rooms and cannot be combined with any other special offer, including but not limited to InterContinental Ambassador’s complimentary weekend night certificate.

At Holiday Inn, children 12 years of age and younger not only stay for free when they share the guest room of their parent or parents in existing bedding; but they also eat free of charge from the all-day dining restaurant with an accompanying paying adult guest. Rates qualify for IHG Rewards Club points. At Holiday Inn hotel properties in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, kids must be shorter than 1.2 meters in height to eat for free; kids between 1.2 and 1.4 meters in height receive a 50 percent restaurant discount; and kids taller than 1.4 meters pay full adult rate.

Not the Same Sale as Another Similar Active Sale…

This is not the same sale about which I posted in this article on Saturday, April 27, 2019. Although a significant amount of overlap exists between the two promotions, the differences are as follows:

This sale includes hotel and resort properties in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan — along with two new hotel properties which are scheduled to open on Sunday, September 1, 2019 and one new hotel property which are scheduled to open on Tuesday, October 1, 2019; while the other sale includes hotel and resort properties in Fiji, Japan and Vanuatu which are not included in this sale.
The other sale requires a minimum stay of two nights; whereas this sale has no such requirement.
Members of the IHG Rewards Club frequent guest loyalty program will receive an additional discount of between two percent and five percent when booking reservations directly with InterContinental Hotels Group; whereas no such verbiage appears in the other offer.
The latest date for which you can register for that promotion is Tuesday, May 21, 2019.
The eligible dates for the other sale are different, as the duration is between Monday, May 6, 2019 and Friday, July 19, 2019.

Summary

I am not sure why two similar sales are concurrently in effect — that seems somewhat bizarre — but I suppose that means more choice for you.

This offer could potentially save you money if you are a member of the IHG Rewards Club frequent guest loyalty program who planned on staying in the aforementioned countries in Asia and the South Pacific during the promotion period anyway.
