Earn 1,000 Hilton Honors Points Per Night at the New DoubleTree by Hilton Vail

You can earn 1,000 Hilton Honors points per night when you stay at the new DoubleTree by Hilton Vail hotel property — which debuted earlier today, Thursday, March 1, 2018 —between Monday, April 1, 2018 and Sunday, June 30, 2018.

Earn 1,000 Hilton Honors Points Per Night at the New DoubleTree by Hilton Vail

The DoubleTree by Hilton Vail is the first hotel property opened by Hilton in the winter resort town of Vail, with convenient access to the slopes with its ski rental on site and shuttle — which operates throughout the day — to Vail Village and Lionshead. The hotel property has 116 rooms and contains greater than 2,782 square feet of meeting and banquet facilities through its three event spaces.

Guests will be able to work, play and relax seamlessly in the lounge area, which is the first coworking space in Vail, thanks to the partnership between the hotel property and Proximity.Space.

Amongst the dining options at this hotel property include a restaurant called Pivot62. The restaurant menu is centralized around the wood burning oven, with meals prepared from locally sourced ingredients to create elevated dishes around which the entire family can gather.

Of course, you also get the famous DoubleTree cookie.

Room Rates and Mandatory Resort Fee

Room rates are as low as $113.78 per night — not including any discounted rates, which could result in a less expensive room rate — if you pay for your room in advance…

…but be aware that you will be charged a resort fee of $30.00 per night plus tax in addition to the room rate — meaning the the total room rate per night is actually $157.87 per night when including the 9.8 percent tax and the mandatory resort fee, which includes:

  • Valet parking
  • Guest internet access
  • Guest shuttle
  • Ski, boot, and bike storage
  • 30 percent off ski and bike rentals
  • 10 percent off offsite leisure activities
  • Local and toll-free telephone calls

Select Terms and Conditions

This offer is subject to availability. You must book 1BP to receive this special offer 1,000 Hilton Honors Points per night. Rates do not include taxes, gratuities, resort fees, or other incidental charges. Blackout days apply. Bonus Points earned on Base Points do not count toward elite tier qualification. Please allow up to eight weeks from completion of your stay for points to appear in your Hilton Honors frequent guest loyalty program membership account.

Other terms and conditions — including those of the Hilton Honors frequent guest loyalty program — apply.

The one negative aspect of what seems to otherwise be a potentially nice hotel property at which to stay is the mandatory resort fee. I currently have elite level status and am not a skier; so the only item covered by the mandatory resort fee which would be of any interest to me would be the guest shuttle.

Otherwise, if you are a member of the Hilton Honors frequent guest loyalty program who plans on being in Vail at any time throughout the months of April, May and June, this is your opportunity to earn bonus Hilton Honors points in addition to what you would typically earn.

    1000 pts is worth $5.

Do you really think it’s worth posting about a $5 off offer on some random hotel? Please evaluate the usefulness of such articles

Your comment is duly noted, B.

Would you be interested in articles which list groups of new hotels and associated bonuses or discounts with each lodging company — such as Marriott, Hilton or InterContinental Hotels Group?

For example: how about an article which lists all of the new Hilton hotel properties at a given time which offer incentives to stay at them?
