Earn 5,000 Bonus Hilton Honors Points at Tru By Hilton Las Vegas Airport — But…

…but there are a few things pertaining to this offer about which you should know.

First, you must stay a minimum of three consecutive nights; and that stay must include a Sunday.

Next — as shown in the screen shot above — one part of this offer is confusing: the text immediately visible in this offer states that you should “Book By 16 Aug 2018. Stay Between 15 Feb 2018 and 16 Aug 2018.” However, the first line of the terms and conditions state that this “Offer valid for stays completed between February 15, 2017 and February 16, 2018 at Tru by Hilton Las Vegas Airport.”

As the hotel property is not yet open, the dates in the text of the terms and conditions are obviously incorrect. Do not be fooled by them.

Select Terms and Conditions

You must be a member of the Hilton Honors frequent guest loyalty program to take advantage of this exclusive opportunity, which is subject to availability.

Hilton Honors members will receive the Hilton Honors bonus points only for stays completed during the promotion period — regardless of a check-in date before the promotion period begins or a checkout date after the promotion period ends. An eligible stay is defined as a minimum of three consecutive nights spent at this same hotel property — regardless of how many times you check in and check out — which includes a Sunday.

Bonus points earned on base points do not count toward elite tier qualification. Please allow up to eight weeks from completion of your stay for points to appear in your Hilton Honors membership account. Rates do not include taxes, gratuities, incidental charges or resort fees — if applicable. Blackout days apply.

Other terms and conditions apply — including those of the Hilton Honors frequent guest loyalty program — apply.

I see no limit to the number of times you can take advantage of this offer, which would lead for me to conclude that the number of bonus Hilton Honors points you can earn with this offer is only limited by the number of times you stay at this hotel property — assuming that each stay is eligible for this offer.

I suspect other Tru by Hilton hotel properties which are celebrating their grand openings may be offering a similar promotion. The key clue for me is the uncorrected cutting and pasting of the dates in the terms and conditions for this offer. At this time, I have not checked other hotel properties which are either scheduled to open or have recently opened.

The final question pertaining to this offer is whether or not you should stay at a Tru by Hilton hotel property — a number of which have been opening around the United States.

My answer is that it depends on what you seek in a stay at a hotel property, as I stayed at the first and original Tru by Hilton hotel property recently: Tru By Hilton Oklahoma City Airport. I have been working on an article with plenty of photographs pertaining to that stay; and it is planned to be posted in the near future to help you decide.

Do not forget that you can earn 1,000 bonus Honors points with Tru by Hilton when you stay at a participating hotel property by Sunday, December 31, 2017 — and that is in addition to the five Hilton Honors points you normally earn per every dollar spent on the room rate. You only need to stay one night to be eligible for this offer; and you are not required to stay on a Sunday — but you can only earn the bonus once.
