Earn Double SkyMiles and 250 Medallion Qualification Miles with Hilton HHonors

ook a stay of a minimum of two consecutive nights from now through Thursday, December 31, 2015 at any participating Hilton HHonors hotel or resort properties worldwide and you will earn double SkyMiles and 250 Medallion Qualification Miles on Delta Air Lines.

If you are a Hilton HHonors member who wants to take advantage of this promotion, you will need to ensure that you select Delta Air Lines as your Double Dip Points & Miles partner in your Hilton HHonors profile to qualify for this offer instead of choosing Points & Points as an option where you only earn Hilton HHonors frequent guest loyalty program points.

Each stay must be a minimum of two nights to qualify. Other terms and conditions apply.

One exception to this promotion is qualifying stays at Home2 Suites by Hilton hotel properties, where you can only earn up to 100 bonus SkyMiles per qualifying stay plus 250 Medallion Qualification Miles.

This promotion appears to be an encore performance which seems to occur every year at the beginning of October for the past few years — and it is an offer which can help those Hilton HHonors members who are also Delta Air Lines SkyMiles members earn elite Medallion status more quickly on Delta Air Lines. Unlike past versions of they promotion, remember that you need to also earn a certain amount of Medallion Qualification Dollars to qualify for Medallion elite level status for next year if you reside in the United States.

While you are not exactly going to achieve Diamond Medallion elite level status in the Delta Air Lines SkyMiles frequent flier loyalty program by earning 250 Medallion Qualification Miles at a time — in fact, you can earn a maximum of 10,000 Medallion Qualification Miles at best during this promotion instead what could have been a possible 11,250, neither of which is even halfway to Silver Medallion elite level status — it is a good promotion that will help you get closer to Medallion elite level status without having to fly as a passenger on an airplane operated by Delta Air Lines or its partners…

…and let us not forget about the earning of double Delta Air Lines SkyMiles, which do not count towards Medallion or Million Miler status.
