Earn Up to 10,070 Bonus Wyndham Rewards Points
Earn 2,014 bonus Wyndham Rewards frequent guest loyalty program points with every stay at a participating hotel property — starting with your second qualifying stay — up to a maximum of 10,070 Wyndham Rewards frequent guest loyalty program points for six stays, which includes the five qualifying stays after the first stay.
You must first register for this promotion — although at least one FlyerTalk member is experiencing problems with registering for this promotion. Book your reservations at a qualifying rate at a participating hotel property by January 31, 2014 for stays to be completed by February 3, 2014. You can reserve a maximum of three rooms per stay. One stay includes all consecutive nights at the same hotel property — regardless of how many times you check in or check out of the same hotel property. Room rates offered by most Internet travel agencies — and certain other rates — do not qualify.
Other terms and conditions apply.
If anyone at Wyndham Rewards is reading this, I hate to say this — but this is yet another weak promotion for a weak frequent guest loyalty program. I get it that this promotion celebrates the approach of the year 2014 — cute, I suppose — but with 10,070 bonus Wyndham Rewards frequent guest loyalty program points, the best you can do is a free night at a Tier 3 hotel property?
There are eight tiers of hotels, with the first tier being the lowest tier. Yay. You cannot even use 10,070 Wyndham Rewards frequent guest loyalty program points for two free nights at the lowest tier — although at 11,000 Wyndham Rewards frequent guest loyalty program points, it is close. How frustrating would it be to find a Tier 1 hotel property for two nights and be 30 Wyndham Rewards frequent guest loyalty program points short? Give me a break.
I was going to research exactly what you get with a Tier 3 hotel property — hoping it was not a hotel property similar to some of the “dumpy” ones at which I have stayed in the past — but this is how the official Internet web site of Wyndham Rewards greeted me when I accessed it:
