Finding an example took me only a few minutes: for a flight which departs from New York on Thursday, June 10, 2021 and returns from Barcelona on Thursday, June 17, 2021, I was able to easily find a fare of $999.42 in Executive Class, which is the version of business class with TAP Air Portugal.

Select Terms and Conditions

This offer is subject to availability only for trips and flights which are operated by TAP Air Portugal; is valid for stays up to 14 days is valid for round trips only; is not available on routes or equipment operating without Executive Class; is not valid for multicity trips; and is not valid for stopover trips — with stops longer than 24 hours.

The lowest price may vary according to the destination.

Minimum stay period is from Friday to Saturday.

Other terms and conditions may apply.

If you want to travel between the United States and Morocco, Ghana, Ivory Coast, and Senegal, fares start at $1,499.00; and if you want to travel between the United States and either Lisbon or Porto in Portugal, fares start at $1,899.00.

I am not taking advantage of this promotion because of both the extra cost of positioning myself in New York or elsewhere — as I found nothing from Atlanta which qualified for this sale — and the uncertainty of what restrictions will be in place as a result of the current 2019 Novel Coronavirus pandemic…

…but if you are interested, this sale is actually a good deal of which to take advantage. Just be wary, as some reports abound that the airline has not been completely ethical in its business practices during the pandemic — specifically pertaining to issuing refunds in a timely manner, if at all.
