I received the following e-mail message today, Thursday, June 21, 2018 from Dunkin’ Donuts; and your role is to find out why I consider this promotion a failure.

      What a great way to save money on inventory, right?!?

      I remember a travel company doing something similar years ago; but I could not recall which company or when it occurred…

    Sometimes emails take a while to get to you from some overloaded server.
    I happened to be in a DD during that time. I wondered what those little cups were but in the DD I visited, they looked dirty and were melting too. I didn’t touch them.

    I received the email timely (EST) this morning. I almost nudged my husband to go try one at the nearest (½ mile away) DD.

    Then I saw the size (3.5 oz) vs picture and realized I’d miss him terribly. As official promo screener: no go.
