Shannon Kelly — also known as FlyerTalk member UA Insider and is the director of customer insights at United Airlines — has announced that United Airlines will be hosting its annual Family Day Open House for United Airlines employees and their families this year on Sunday, October 7, 2012 from 11:00 in the morning until 5:00 in the afternoon at their maintenance center in San Francisco.
As has been done in past years, a limited number of tickets will be available to FlyerTalk members who are also United Airlines Mileage Plus frequent flier loyalty program members — as well as one guest — to attend. However, requests will be handed out on a first-come, first-serve basis. The announcement as to which FlyerTalk members will be fortunate enough to attend the event, which will include tours of the maintenance facility and allow you to view various aircraft of United Airlines on display up close.
You have nothing to lose by submitting your request to attend, as you never know which FlyerTalk members ahead of you who have requested to attend as well may suddenly withdraw their request due to unforeseen pending commitments.
Good luck to you if you decide to attempt to attend!
