…additionally, you will automatically be registered into the Mosaic Challenge, through which you will have 90 calendar days to earn 3,750 base flight TrueBlue points — you earn three base flight points for every dollar you spend on flights operated by JetBlue Airways — to earn Mosaic membership through Monday, December 31, 2018 if successfully completed.

There are two requirements to be accepted into the Mosaic status match:

  1. You must be a member of the TrueBlue frequent flier loyalty program — and if not, you can sign up for free at
  2. You must provide proof of elite level status — such as a copy of your statement or current credentials card — that you currently enrolled in one of the following frequent flier loyalty programs with the specified elite level status:
    • Virgin America: Elevate Silver, Elevate Gold
    • Alaska Airlines: Mileage Plan; MVP Gold or MVP Gold 75k
    • American Airlines: AAdvantage Platinum, AAdvantage Platinum Pro, AAdvantage Executive Platinum
    • Delta Air Lines: SkyMiles Medallion Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond
    • Southwest Airlines: Rapid Rewards A-List Preferred or Companion Pass
    • United Airlines: MileagePlus Premier Silver, Gold, Platinum or Premier1K

Select Terms and Conditions

Please allow JetBlue Airways two weeks to review your information once you have submitted it. You will then receive an e-mail message notifying you if you have been matched with Mosaic elite status for the remainder of 2017 and that your benefits have started. If matched, you are also automatically registered into the Mosaic Challenge, giving you the chance to keep your Mosaic elite status through 2018 if completed.

Mosaic status and benefits will not be effective until JetBlue notifies you via email of your Mosaic status; no retroactive Mosaic status or benefits will be granted. If you qualify for the Mosaic Status Match, you will not be awarded 15,000 qualifying bonus points. JetBlue flights are flights operated by JetBlue Airways and purchased with a JetBlue flight number. All other bonus points, partner points, booking bonuses or any other points will not count towards the 3,750 point requirement. You must enter your TrueBlue number at the time of booking a JetBlue flight in order to earn TrueBlue points towards the challenge. The amount of base flight points earned by a Challenge participant will be solely determined by JetBlue and its tallying.

Other terms and conditions — as well as additional restrictions — apply. View the TrueBlue Terms and Conditions.

If you plan on flying as a passenger on flights operated by JetBlue Airways — or have always wanted to try out the airline — this is your opportunity to do so with elite status if you already have earned elite status in another program.

Perhaps FlyerTalk member Dk511 should consider applying for this initiative if completely unsuccessful with being matched to a higher elite level status with this airline, which refuses to grant it

Do flights have to be booked and flown during the 90 day time period? Or just booked ?

My understanding of the terms and conditions of this status match is that the flights must be booked and flown within the period of 90 days, Beechy — not just booked.
