The voucher is non–refundable and non-transferable; and is valid for further transportation on Qatar Airways marketed flights only and/or Qatar Airways ancillary services if requested at least three days prior to departure.
If your ticket is fully unused, the full equivalent amount will be issued on a non-refundable voucher valid for travel within 12 months from the date of the voucher issuance.
If your ticket is partially used, the unutilized amount of your ticket will be reissued on a non-refundable travel voucher valid for one year from the date of voucher issuance.
The 10 percent additional amount will be calculated on the unutilized base fare — taxes and all other applicable charges excluded — of the ticket originally paid and remains non-refundable.
If your flight has been cancelled or disrupted, all applicable penalties shall be waived if cancellations are implemented prior to departure.
If your flight has not been cancelled or disrupted, any relevant penalties will be applied according to the applicable fare rules of the fare paid.
The amount of the refund will be credited using the original form of payment used to purchase the ticket.
A refund is usually best in terms of ensuring the greatest amount of flexibility for your future travel plans — or even if you do not want to apply your refund towards travel at all — but the incentive of receiving ten percent additional value for a future travel voucher to what you purchased on your current ticket is a potentially good deal if you intend to exchange it.
