  • 10,000 Marriott Rewards points = 2,000 American Airlines AAdvantage miles
  • 20,000 Marriott Rewards points = 5,000 American Airlines AAdvantage miles
  • 30,000 Marriott Rewards points = 10,000 American Airlines AAdvantage miles
  • 70,000 Marriott Rewards points = 25,000 American Airlines AAdvantage miles
  • 140,000 Marriott Rewards points = 50,000 American Airlines AAdvantage miles

While the exchange rate most likely may not cause you to rush to convert your Marriott Rewards frequent guest loyalty program points to American Airlines AAdvantage frequent flier loyalty program miles, FlyerTalk members are generally excited about the “reunion.”
The previous partnership between the Marriott Rewards and American Airlines AAdvantage loyalty programs ended effective as of July 1, 2010.
