More States Where You Can Find Gasoline for 99 Cents Per Gallon

The cost for a gallon of gasoline in the United States continues to decrease as a result of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus pandemic; and an increasing number of states have fuel stations which are selling gasoline at prices which have not been seen in years…

…but where can you find gasoline at 99 cents per gallon?

More States Where You Can Find Gasoline for 99 Cents Per Gallon

Although you can no longer find gasoline at 99 cents per gallon at Spur in London, Kentucky — for now, anyway — the good news is that fuel stations in other states are starting to price gasoline at 99 cents per gallon, according to contributors to GasBuddy.com.

At the time this article was written, you can purchase gasoline for 99 cents per gallon at the following fuel stations:

Even if you cannot find that low of a price per gallon of gasoline right now, some states are seeing fuel stations with prices of gasoline which are currently edging precariously closer to the precipice of 99 cents per gallon — and are expected to cross that threshold at any time, with several other states not far behind — such as in:

The last time prices for a gallon of gasoline were less than $1.20 per gallon was back in February of 2016, which was greater than four years ago.

By the way, if you still miss paying expensive prices for a gallon of gasoline, head on over to California, where at least four fuel stations are currently charging $4.79 per gallon.

…and according to numerous forecasts, fuel prices will continue to decrease — which means that a greater number of fuel stations in the United States will sell gasoline at 99 cents per gallon — or, perhaps, even less.

    1. Wisconsin now has two fuel stations with gasoline priced at 99 cents per gallon, HChris. I just checked.

The first one in Delavan was reported within the hour; and the second one in Elkhorn was reported just 20 minutes ago.

      Thank you for catching that.

  1. While gas prices are being affected by this virus scare the real reason fuel is so cheap now is that the Saudi’s recently dumped cheap oil on the market to fight with the Russians and try to undercut American Shale oil break-even price on production costs. They have done this before. Artificially lower oil prices to drive American oil drilling companies out of business and then when American supplies dry up they ramp up the price again. We need to enjoy the prices for now but this will result in long term pain at the pump later for sure. It would also be a good time for airlines to secure fuel hedging and Trump is adding oil to the American reserves that we will need later to fight this.

  2. You misstated this in the first line of your article.
    You typed:
    …”result of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus pandemic…”
    Isn’t it actually,
the “2019 Novel Coronavirus — which is also known as COVID-19 or 2019-nCoV — pandemic.”

    Just looking for consistency here.
    thanks.

    1. This is won of those thymes that know matter what eye do, Dave, aye cannot seem two do anything write.

Eye will bee more careful the next time aye right about the current influenza epidemic — ewe no…four consistency porpoises.

By the way, I am typing this with a smile on my face; and the typographical errors were intentional…
