To celebrate Starwood Preferred Guest Restaurant Month, if you are a member of the Starwood Preferred Guest frequent guest loyalty program and enjoy fine dining, you have until February 10, 2013 to have a three-course prix-fixe meal at up to 66 restaurants in 38 cities throughout the United States and Canada.
You can enjoy lunch for a cost of $20.13 — in recognition for the year 2013, I assume — and dinner for $30.13 at restaurants located inside Starwood Preferred Guest hotel properties. Service charges, taxes and gratuities are not included, and the amounts you will be charged are based on prices before the prix-fixe discount is applied. Additionally, the set cost of lunch or dinner may be further discounted based on the existing percentage discount offered by the participating restaurant for members of the Starwood Preferred Guest frequent guest loyalty program — up to 30 percent off of the total bill.
Search for a restaurant by country, city, hotel, type of cuisine or cost. I assume cost is included as a search parameter if you plan on any purchases in addition to your lunch or dinner — as this offer is valid on Restaurant Month menu food items only and not applicable to breakfast or beverages — and country is rather useless as a search parameter.
If you dine at a restaurant at a Starwood Preferred Guest hotel property in Hawaii, the cost for lunch or dinner is the same, but you will only dine on a two-course meal instead of a three-course meal.
Some restaurants may offer Restaurant Month menus for lunch only or dinner only — in which case, you may need to contact individual venues directly to inquire. Participating restaurants and bars may change participation. Menu items vary by restaurant and are subject to change without notice. Please contact individual restaurants directly for menu information. Prix-fixe menu items cannot be substituted or changed. You must request the discount in the restaurant at the time of settling the bill, even if applying charges to your room; the discount cannot be applied at the front desk of the hotel property. Also, the discount is not applicable in conjunction with additional restaurant or hotel specific promotions other than Starwood Preferred Guest Restaurant Month. Other terms and conditions apply.
My advice is to choose to take advantage of this offer for lunch instead of dinner. Although portions may vary by restaurant, meals are usually the same at lunch as they are at dinner — and you will save at least ten dollars. Also, do not forget to bring your Starwood Preferred Guest frequent guest loyalty program card with you, as you will earn Starpoints with your meal.
Bon appétit!
