This promotion is valid only for new reservations for 25 percent off of the Best Available Rate on standard rooms, double occupancy eligible stay. This promotion is not valid for existing reservations and may not be used in conjunction with any other package, promotion, group or convention rate, or any other discounted rate. Rates during an eligible stay may vary, and this promotion may not be available each night of a stay.

This promotion excludes taxes except as otherwise indicated; and other incidental charges — such as extra person charges if double occupancy is exceeded, resort fees, room service and room entertainment.

An eligible stay is one or more nights at a participating hotel or resort property during the promotion period which was booked using the promotion. Participating hotel or resort properties and availability are limited and subject to change without notice. This promotion is void where prohibited by law.

Summary

I see no verbiage in the terms and conditions of this promotion that you must pay for your reservation in full in advance, which is rare for a 72-hour sale — not that it really matters in this case, as reservations are mostly last minute and 16 days in advance at the most anyway.

Additionally, being a member of the Club Carlson frequent guest loyalty program does not seem to be a requirement to participate in this promotion.

In other words, you seem to have nothing to lose by booking a reservation to take advantage of a last-minute discount of 25 percent off of stays at participating hotel or resort properties.
