Founded in 1998 by the creators of Trevor — which is a short film that tied for the Academy Award for Best Short Subject in 1995 — The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning young people ages 13-24.
