She Spent Her 40th Birthday Attempting to Go Home With Her Autistic Son
Not all trip reports are positive and fun.
Take, for example, the experience of FlyerTalk member Shankuberman, who says that “There is NO CRYING in baseball!”
On her round-trip flights between Shanghai and Charlotte — amongst other things — the former flight attendant reportedly crossed the United States needlessly twice, met with a plethora of cancelled and delayed flights, spent $600.00 unnecessarily, encountered broken or insufficient equipment, had little sustenance for her and her three-year-old autistic son — and never once received an apology or appropriate compensation.
Worst of all, all of this happened on her 40th birthday.
Is she justified with being aggravated with the airline in question, for whom she used to be a flight attendant?
