Sunrise Over Warsaw

I  awoke this cool and crisp morning in Warsaw to watch the sun rise while in my room — specifically over the area near the central train station building, which would be located to the right of the center of the photograph but cannot be seen.

Sunrise Over Warsaw

After arriving in Warsaw the night before, I walked all over the Old Town area of the city — which is located beyond the tall buildings in the photograph — yesterday until the skies became a dark grey; the wind blustery and cold; and precipitation in the form of water instead of snow began to fall for the first time during my trip. Spring has decided to yet again retreat in this part of the world.

The hotel property at which I am currently staying is the Hilton Warsaw Hotel & Convention Centre — the same hotel property to which I referenced in this article pertaining to the efforts towards the environment of Hilton as a company in honor of Earth Day yesterday. I intend to have a review of this hotel property in a future article.

Summary

The photograph at the top of this article was not shot with my good camera. I will post better photographs in a different article after I return to the United States; but I wanted to share the sunrise over Warsaw with you as soon as possible — and yes, this article is similar to that of the one pertaining to the sunrise over Minsk.

For now, however, I am off to breakfast…
