Top Flyer, a program wholly within FlyerTalk that was launched on January 6, 2011, rewards FlyerTalk members who share their best tips, photographs, videos and other content about flying as rated by the Top Flyer community. The 10 highest-ranking users at the end of each month will achieve Top Flyer status and receive a choice of either 5,000 Membership Rewards® bonus points from American Express® or a $25 American Express Gift Card.

However, some FlyerTalk members are not sold on the concept of Top Flyer, while others do not get it. Your thoughts, suggestions and opinions, as well as those of other FlyerTalk members, may be posted in this thread or the original Top Flyer thread.

Top Flyer was first featured by The Gate when there was a call for people to test the ßeta version back on November 15.
