Calls for labor strikes by Verdi — which is the union that represents members of the security staff — at eight airports in Germany for tomorrow, Tuesday, January 15, 2019 have been issued; and air travel will be affected.

Lufthansa already canceled at least 414 flights for tomorrow; and Eurowings also already canceled dozens of flights.

If you are traveling to or from Germany on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, expect delays and cancellations of flights. Keep up to date on the latest information pertaining to this industrial action which may adversely affect your travel plans.

If you have a flight scheduled, your flight may be delayed or canceled — and you may be eligible for a waiver of a fee to change your itinerary.

Meanwhile, if your travels have been affected by industrial actions which have already occurred, you can change your travel plans with the fee waived.
