Update: Free 1,000 Hilton HHonors Points For Changing the Password to Your Account

have been asked by one of my contacts representing Hilton Worldwide to update you as to the status of proactively changing your password as soon as possible starting today through Sunday, March 8, 2015 and receiving 1,000 bonus Hilton HHonors frequent guest loyalty program points:

This change has not taken effect yet due to a technical issue on our end, so please tell your readers to hold on changing their passwords for right now.

We apologize for the confusion; we posted this update yesterday because we wanted members to be the first to know about this change and the Bonus Points! I will share updates with you as soon as I receive them.

This information has also been posted on FlyerTalk.

Despite the technical issues, several readers of The Gate and some FlyerTalk members report having successfully changed the password — but the latest word is for you to hold off on changing your password until further notice. “As we are experiencing technical issues, you will not receive Bonus Points by changing your password at this time and you will still be required to change your password at a later date, when we have updates to share”, posted FlyerTalk member HHonorsRepresentative.

It is unknown at this time whether or not those members who already successfully changed their passwords will receive the 1,000 bonus Hilton HHonors frequent guest loyalty program points.

Please stay tuned; and when I receive more information, I will share it with you…
