Maximum sustained winds of this storm — which is currently centered approximately 285 miles west of Bermuda and is currently moving east northeast at 16 miles per hour — are 115 miles per hour, which means that this storm is currently a Category 3 hurricane.

A hurricane warning has been issued for Bermuda, which will experience strong winds and torrential rain, with up to six inches of rain forecast in some areas. Fortunately, the forward motion of the hurricane has increased in speed, which means that the effects of the storm will not last long.
