I recently booked a reservation for a room at a Home2 Suites hotel property by Hilton — specifically, the Home2 Suites by Hilton Pittsburgh Cranberry, PA, which is located 20.7 miles almost due north of Pittsburgh — for $75.20 plus tax, which is a very good room rate for this brand…
Video Preview: My First Stay at a Home2 Suites by Hilton Hotel
…and as I was taking photographs, I realized that they were numbering in the dozens — so I decided to record a short video of the room itself. This does not include other features offered by the hotel property — such as the fitness center and the salt water pool.
First, I have no idea why YouTube decided to feature the toilet, of all the things which are discussed in the video. I was bowled over by that. Maybe it was flushed with envy that I took the plunge to stay at this hotel property? I think not, tank you very much. Yes, I know I can change the featured photograph. I eventually will change that featured image — or perhaps polish up the video and release the newer version — hopefully within the near future.
Second, I erroneously stated that a night table has drawers. It does not have drawers. It never had drawers. It will never have drawers — unless some guy decides to flop his boxer shorts used as underwear onto the night table. The night table has a smaller night table stacked under it; so it can be pulled out for extra space.
Third, the kitchenette is not complete because no cooking surface is available — but fear not…
…for a sticker which is affixed to the door of the microwave oven contains the following statement:
Every chef needs culinary options.
That’s why we have portable cooktops with skillets — FREE OF CHARGE!

Summary
Elizabeth — who was the woman behind the front desk at this hotel property when I arrived — checked me in; and she was as cheerful and helpful as possible to me.
At the time this article was written, I did not have time to apply a full and complete review of this hotel property; but I intend to rectify that in a future article — along with those dozens of aforementioned photographs.
