  1. The map is bizarre and potentially biased. The European countries labelled are not shown at the same size relative to each other. For example, Liechtenstein (near Idaho) is very big but it it were located in NYC, it would be a mere dot.

Not all European countries are included. I see no Russia, Vatican, Monaco, San Marino, Malta.

It’s also wrong in that the GDP of Europe is larger than the US.

The location of cities is also strange. New Orleans gets compared to Toulouse but Houston, France is not deemed big or important economically to even become Lille or Strasbourg or Bordeaux. Indianapolis is at least worthy of being named Edinburgh but both are absent.

In short, this is a bad political statement that is wrong on many levels.

  2. Surely the GDP of the United Kingdom is not as great as the size depicted on the map, especially WHERE it is located, including Detroit, Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Indianapolis,. I am also wondering if some product are not included, such as farming.

On a side note, I am amused of the placement of Spain and France on the map, ie, the Louisiana Purchase, and the predominately Latino minority of the South West.
