What is Wrong With This Photograph? Part 68

Looking through my vast collection of photographs which I had taken during my travels over the years, I found one which I took in New York in June of 2011 at a legendary knish bakery — or knishery — which has been in business for greater than 100 years; and I spotted something in the photograph which I had not previously noticed.

    Shimmel or Schmimmel – it’s spelled both ways.

    There should be three dots (…) after SHIMMEL; not two dots.

    “Shimmel” is spelled “Schimmel” in the window signs.

    Totally unrelated, but did anybody ever get their 10,000 Hilton points from doing the survey bit (October 10th post)?

    Oddly enough the big sign is the incorrect one (per their web site). I guess it was to expensive to fix

    I am completely charmed by the idea of a “knishery”, regardless of what they choose to call themselves.
