As I was on my way to a recent appointment, a sign for a Golden Corral Buffet & Grill restaurant immediately caught my eye while I was driving past it — so as I had a few minutes to spare, I decided to pull into the parking lot and take photographs of it.

    Full of errors. Contractor did not center “700”. It is too far to the right. The signboard message is odd, “Always hiring great peoplo”. Probably meant “people”. The “&” is also not proportionally placed between “Buffet” and “Grill”. The last possible error is that they might not always hire great people. One might be lousy, making the “always” a Trumpian type boast.

    What if one doesn’t know what great people means – then what? How does a buffet and a grill go together? It one or the others? Right? I’m scared already to go in here and eat. Is 700 the number of not so great people they have already hired or 700 great they would like to hire? If you go to apply and they notice you are not a great person will they tell you? Or will they go back on their world and hire you anyway? These are questions I need answered – please someone enlightened me and please keep the sarcasm going

    I have seen the sign and it doesn’t make any sense to have a grill and buffet together a buffet is where you can pick your own food and a grill is where they have it grilled up already.

    Well people spelled wrong and it doesn’t say closed due to franchise owner in Schererville and Merrillville Indiana going to prison for murder .

    As in- to always be hiring suggests endless jobs available, or that For some reason, you can’t keep The great employees you hire

    Funny I do own a restaurant and I was told that all buffet were suspended until further notice but is funny to see how a big chain or others corporations are exempt from this rule. But well is all political that only small restaurants are the ones spreading the virus.

    The G and C should be capitalized, they replaced the L’s with the #1, they miss spelled people, just under that it says watchFire signs- whats that mean? The 700 is out of center!

    I will stay out of the politics of what might be wrong with this sign and simply say that if you always hire great people, then why are you continually hiring. Great employees are dedicated to there job and employees.
