What is Wrong With This Photograph? Part 84

The current 2019 Novel Coronavirus pandemic has resulted in countless alterations to what was once considered normal — and one of the changes is the closure of the dining areas of fast food restaurants, which have forced their customers to drive through and place their orders for food via an audio system through which verbal communications are barely comprehensible.

  1. if you’re on a bicycle or on foot burning all the calories you are about to consume, ain’t nuthin’ wrong with this photo! and yes, i want fries with that.

  2. Nothing wrong with that picture at all. The drive thru is now only ONE LANE as it should be. Never liked those two lane free for all everybody finishes at the speaker at the same time and then you go, no you go, no I’M GOING. Who the F designs a drive thru with a merge like it was some kind of tollbooth?

  3. What’s the most weird is that there are two displays for the menu but one of them is placed after the ordering location. It appears that they want customers to drive to the second menu then back up into another car when they want to order from that menu.

Another thing wrong is that the sign reading “any lane, any time” is false because one lane is blocked with a cone. However, I give the restaurant a pass on that one and wouldn’t crucify them for that mistake.

  4. Surely what is wrong is that both menu boards are facing the lane that is blocked off. I assume that there are 2 boards as one is for ordering from and the other is for the next in line to be making their mind up from whilst waiting?

  5. maybe the yellow arrow painted on the ground that is pointing straight into the wall…

I guess that could be a metaphor for what ordering at one of those double drive thru’s is like.

like running straight into a brick wall..

  6. The two signs have two sets of menus if you’ve ever driven by or been at one. They are both readable from the car. Dumb picture to ask about.
