I receive an e-mail message from Delta Air Lines pertaining to the sweepstakes to see the Atlanta Braves play baseball during spring training; but because he is based in New York, Michael W. of Michael W Travels… received a similar e-mail message pertaining to the sweepstakes to see the New York Mets play baseball during spring training.

I am not sure that I am going to enter this sweepstakes, as I already saw a spring training game last year between the New York Yankees and the Atlanta Braves in the first major league baseball game ever played at SunTrust Park in Atlanta. Although the New York Yankees lost that game, they did qualify for the playoffs — but I cannot imagine anything topping that special game.

Delta Air Lines is also the official sponsor of the Washington Nationals — as well as the Minnesota Twins, Detroit Tigers, New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Pirates, Cincinnati Reds and San Diego Padres — but I have not yet been able to find similar sweepstakes for those baseball teams. If I do find any more, I intend to include them in this article.

Even though there is a limit of only one entry per person per e-mail address per household, I see no language in the official rules, terms and conditions which indicates that you cannot enter the sweepstakes for each team.

In the meantime, good luck if you decide to participate in this sweepstakes — and play ball!
